Apprentice Welder Required

Tideswell Welding Services Ltd. is a family owned welding and fabrication business located near Tideswell in its own purpose-built specialist workshop. We are involved in the construction, quarrying, mining and agricultural industries, with our main customers being CAT Finning UK Ltd., Breedon and Tarmac. We specialise in heavy plant repairs and undertake major fabrication projects working in conjunction with engineers and designers. A lot of our work is carried on our customer’s sites.

Our growing company employs a team of multi-skilled workers as well as many sub-contractors from the surrounding area. Our newly constructed workshop houses two overhead cranes, a CNC profiler, guillotine, lathe and various other heavy fabrication equipment.

We are looking for a dynamic young person (aged 16-18 years old) to join our team. You should be able to show us determination, a hard work ethic, pride in your work, loyalty and an interest in the sectors we work in. The successful applicant will be trained in fabrication, plating and welding whilst attending Chesterfield College (one day per week) to achieve a recognised qualification in welding and fabrication. Due to our remote location, it will be necessary for you to consider your transportation needs to and from work and college.
