Our History
ABOUT
A family owned welding and fabrication business located in the heart of the Peak District in its own purpose built specialist workshop.
HISTORY
Tideswell Welding Services Limited was established in 1984 by Andrew Bettney, working mainly out the back of his van Andrew worked as a sole trader for local farmers and quarries until 2009. Andrew has grown the business and today it employs eleven full time and one part time staff, as-well as many sub-contractors from the surrounding area.
In June 2017 the business relocated from a business unit in Cheshire to our new site upon Tideswell Moor, Derbyshire, thus providing space for both an office and bespoke workshop which has given room for vital new equipment. This also means that we are now better placed for our main clients, with good transport links nearby to open up our business to new customers and provide ease of access for all our suppliers.
The business’s primary activities are welding and fabrication, with a particular emphasis on heavy plant engineering, maintenance and repairs. Additionally, we undertake bespoke fabrication and repairs on machinery in the Peak District quarries.
